I’m a BACP Registered Counsellor offering counselling to young people aged 16+ and adults, including parents and carers.
I have extensive experience working with children and young people with disabilities and additional needs, alongside supporting their families. I’ve also worked with university students through counselling and specialist mental health mentoring, including neurodivergent students and those navigating the transition to university, greater independence and adult life.
I support young people experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, feeling different or misunderstood, neurodivergence, identity and relationships, educational pressures and difficult life transitions. My experience working alongside children, young people and families also gives me an understanding of the wider impact that unmet needs, school anxiety, bullying, sensory overwhelm and difficulties within education can have.
I also offer counselling to parents and carers who need a space for themselves while supporting a child or young person through disability, additional needs, mental health difficulties or challenges around education.
My approach is person-centred and integrative, trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirmative and neuro-affirming. I aim to offer a supportive, non-judgemental space where each person’s individual experiences, needs and differences can be understood.
